At Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, we work to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes providing accommodations that are designed to give you privacy and comfort while allowing for ease of care during your stay. All of the rooms at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett are private rooms for your convenience.
The hospital bed you will be using during your stay is electronically adjustable for your comfort. Your nurse will be happy to show you how to operate it and answer any questions you may have. The bed is designed to be high and slightly narrow to allow your hospital team to attend to your care more easily. Your bed will also be equipped with side rails for your protection. If your rails are raised, please ask your nurse before lowering them.
Asking for Assistance
Your room comes equipped with two nurse call buttons, one at your bedside and one in the bathroom. The call button will alert the nurse to your need for assistance by activating a light at the nurse’s station. Your nurse will attend to your request as soon as he or she is able.
Telephones are provided in each room. Local calls may be made at any time from the room by dialing 9 and the number. Long-distance calls cannot be charged to your room. You can make a credit card call or charge a long-distance call back to your home number. You may call the hospital operator by dialing 0 at any time for assistance.
Due to the potential risk to patient equipment, telemetry areas restrict the use of wireless communication devices including cellular phones. The use of cellular phones by patients and visitors is allowed in public areas of the hospital.
Color television sets are provided free of charge in each room. Please be considerate of others in the hospital by playing television sets softly and by turning off your set at bedtime.
