MAKOplasty robot for robotically assisted surgeryMako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery is a minimally invasive joint replacement surgery technique for adults with early to mid-stage osteoarthritis. Mako is performed using a highly advanced, surgeon-controlled robotic arm system. This system enables the surgeon to create a customized surgery plan that includes optimized implant positioning using a CT scan of the patient’s knee. During the surgery, the surgeon uses feedback from the robotic arm to make real-time adjustments for a more accurate and successful surgery.
