Community Outreach

At Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, we are more than a healthcare provider. We are also a community partner. Our physicians, staff and volunteers are dedicated to making a significant impact on the quality of life for the residents of Northeast Shelby County and the surrounding area. We do this through our community outreach programs, including health education classes, health screenings, and supporting local non-profit organizations.

Volunteer Services at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett

Saint Francis Hospital - Bartlett VolunteersSaint Francis Hospital – Bartlett volunteers impact every area of our hospital. They are a vital resource to our patients, families, visitors and employees. Their hard work and dedication makes an extraordinary difference in the care we offer. Saint Francis Hospital - Bartlett offers opportunities for service that accommodate the schedules of working adults, college students and retirees.

Our volunteers work in over 15 different departments providing service in a variety of ways. All volunteers are asked to provide four hours of service each week. In addition, college students are required to make a six month commitment to the hospital. All adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. A summer "volunteen" program is available for 16 and 17 year old students.

The Director of Volunteer Service, Will Lowes, coordinates the volunteers at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett. He can be reached by email at Will.Lowes@tenethealth.com.
