Your Room
Room assignments at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett are based on the degree of illness and the type of care required.  For your comfort, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is designed with all private rooms.  If your room requires maintenance of any kind, please contact your nurse.

Nurse Call Button
Located both at your bedside and in the bathroom, the call button will alert the nurse to your request for assistance.  When activated, a light will go on at the nurse’s station.  Please understand that there may be times when your request is not answered immediately due to the urgent needs of another patient.  If you have questions about your call button, ask a member of our nursing staff.

Your Bed
Hospital beds are designed to be high and slightly narrow for ease of care by your health professionals.  For your comfort, your bed is electronically adjustable.  Your nurse will show you how to properly operate it.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Side rails
All beds are equipped with side rails for your protection.  If the rails have been raised, please do not lower them without first asking your nurse. 

Telephones are provided in each room.  Local calls may be made at any time from the room by dialing 9 and the number.  Long-distance calls cannot be charged to your room. You can make a credit card call or charge a long-distance call back to your home numberYou may call the hospital operator by dialing 0 at any time for assistance.

Cellular Phone
Due to the potential risk to patient equipment, telemetry areas restrict the use of wireless communication devices. The use of cellular phones by patients and visitors is allowed in public areas of the hospital.

Color television sets are provided free of charge in each room. Please be considerate of other patients by playing television sets softly and by turning off your set at bedtime.
