(October 4, 2004-Bartlett, Tenn.)  Based on patient satisfaction scores for the month of August, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett has been named a Tenet Healthcare five star hospital.  Only six of Tenet's 95 hospitals achieved a five-star rating for the month.  In addition, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is one of just two Tenet hospitals to maintain a five-star rating for the year to date.

The rating is based on an independent survey of Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett patients.  The hospital is graded in eight different categories including willingness to return, nursing care, physicians, and physical environment.  Five-star status is achieved when the hospital scores 90 or more on a scale of 100.

"I'm extremely proud of our staff and their dedication to patient satisfaction," said CEO David Wilson.  "We've set the bar high and are dedicated to keeping our five-star status in the future."
