On February 29, 2012, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett opened an additional 56 beds to serve the population of Northeast Shelby County. Part of this facility expansion included 16 beds dedicated to our new Ortho/Spine Unit. This unit is designed and staffed to specifically meet the needs of our patient population requiring orthopedic services.
In addition to the new patient rooms, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett recently opened two new surgical suites. Our operating rooms are spacious, and feature Styrker integrated video technology. With a total of six surgical suites, we are able to meet the scheduling needs of our patients and physicians.
The staff at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is focused on providing our patients with the quality care they deserve. In fact, Cigna has named Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett a Center of Excellence for knee replacement.
