Foundation beam at powerhouse expansion.
The construction crew continues to fight the weather, as we have received plenty of rain the past few weeks. The process of installing the gravel sub base for the slab on grade at the surgery expansion area began.  In addition, the first of three foundation beams were installed at the power house expansion.  The footing area was finally able to be placed and the plumber had three days of spider piping.

The $34 million dollar facility expansion project will result in 96 additional hospital beds for Bartlett and the surrounding area.  The expansion will allow Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett to double their current total of ICU beds and surgical suites.  In addition, ancillary services such as pharmacy and laboratory will be relocated and expanded.  Finally, with the addition of more than 83,000 square feet, Saint Francis-Bartlett will have space available to expand service lines to serve the growing needs of the community.
