Our facility expansion is rapidly moving towards completion. We recently received life safety approval from the State of Tennessee. This allows our non-patient care departments (Lab, Medical Records, Biomed, Medical Staff, Case Management, and Administration) to move into their new space!

We anticipate the State of Tennessee returning for a clinical survey in the next two to three weeks. We are confident we will successfully complete this survey as well and will be able to begin admitting patients to the new units shortly thereafter.

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett would like to invite the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for the hospital’s facility expansion.  You can “Leap Forward” with Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett on Wednesday, February 29th.  The ceremony begins at 10 a.m., with tours and refreshments from 10:30 a.m. until noon.

The facility expansion is a $34 million dollar project that will ultimately result in 96 additional hospital beds for Bartlett and the surrounding area.   Ground was broken on the project on Sep. 23rd, 2010.

The expansion will also allow Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett to double their current total of ICU beds and surgical suites.  In addition, ancillary services such as pharmacy and laboratory will be relocated and expanded.  Finally, with the addition of more than 83,000 square feet, Saint Francis-Bartlett will have space available to expand service lines to meet the growing needs of the community.

“We want the public to participate in this occasion because of the great support they have given Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett in our first seven years,” said Kem Mullins, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett chief executive officer.
