Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett Receives Accolades

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett was named “Best Hospital” and “Best Business” in the Bartlett area in The Bartlett Express 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards.  This marks the eighth consecutive year that Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett has been honored in The Bartlett Express’ annual poll.

In addition, hospital employees received individual accolades.  Kem Mullins, chief executive officer, was named “Man of the Year.”  Mullins has been at the hospital since 2006 and has presided over the facility’s growth. Earlier this year construction was completed on a $3 million diagnostic imaging center.  Mullins is also leading the hospital’s 96-bed facility expansion scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2012.  Mullins is active in the community, serving on the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as chairman of the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce’s 10-Year Economic Development Strategic Plan.
Jane Garrett, director of community outreach, was named The Bartlett Express “ Woman of the Year.”  Garrett, a Bartlett resident, has been at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett since 2004.  In addition to coordinating efforts to provide health screenings to area churches, businesses, and schools, Garrett also leads the hospital’s volunteer staff.  She is active in the community, having recently been named Lifeblood’s Volunteer of the Year.
