NICU Reunion

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is inviting past patients of the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and their families to the hospital for a reunion.  The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 outside the hospital’s main entrance.

Featured activities at the NICU reunion include a moon bounce, face painting, balloon art, and light refreshments.  In addition, the Bartlett Police Department will provide child identification kits while the Bartlett Fire Department will have an ambulance and fire truck available for tours.

The reunion will also provide the Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett Women’s Center staff with the chance to catch up with some of their very special patients.

“I’m looking forward to seeing our NICU graduates,” said Lisa Hayden, R.N., Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett Women’s Center director.  “Many of these children had a tough start to life that they were able to overcome.  We get very attached to them during their time in the NICU so it’s going to be fun to see how they are growing up.”

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett features a Level II NICU with the advanced medical technology needed to treat premature and ill newborns.
