Foot and Ankle Pain

The human foot has 26 bones, 33 joints, and more than 100 tendons, muscles, and ligaments.  You put a force equal to several hundred tons to bear on your feet during an average day of walking.  Foot pain may be a sign of other more serious medical conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, and nerve or circulatory disorders.
Christopher Hendrix, DPM, and Chad Webster, DPM, will host the seminar, “Common Foot and Ankle Problems.”  The event will take place at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett on Wednesday, September 22nd at 6:00 p.m.  The seminar is complimentary and food will be served.  People interested in attending can reserve their spot by calling 820-7022.
“We will discuss some of the more frequent foot issues we see in our office,” said Dr. Webster.  “We’ll also have a question and answer period to provide people with a better understanding of problems that may be specific to their feet and possible solutions to those problems.”
