Emergency Room Expansion

This morning Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett cut the ribbon on a $1.5 million emergency room expansion project, which increased the number of treatment rooms from 19 to 33. This includes six fast track rooms for less serious illnesses and minor injuries, eight chest pain exam rooms and two trauma rooms. Two triage rooms have also been added.

“We have seen a significant increase in our emergency room volume over the past several years,” said Jeremy Clark, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett CEO. “Our focus is on delivering the highest quality care and the best possible experience for our patients. The expansion will allow us to accomplish both of these goals and best serve our community.”

The additional capacity will also provide Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett the opportunity to continue to expand its service lines. The hospital will be seeking primary stroke center certification and chest pain center accreditation in the coming months.
