(December 21, 2005 – Bartlett, Tenn.) Based on patient satisfaction scores for the month of November, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett has been named a Tenet Healthcare five star hospital. Only six of Tenet’s 70 hospitals achieved a five star rating for the month. In addition, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett has the second highest cumulative patient satisfaction scores in the Tenet system for the year-to-date through November, 2005. The rating is based on an independent survey of Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett patients. The hospital is graded in eight different categories, including willingness to return, nursing care, physicians, and physical environment. Inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Care Center visits are included in the survey. “Our consistently high patient satisfaction scores are a credit to the staff at Saint Francis-Bartlett,” said Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett CEO David Wilson. “When we opened the doors of this hospital in June of 2004 our goal was 100 percent patient satisfaction. The high level of patient satisfaction shows our continued commitment to this goal.” Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, part of Tenet Tennessee, is a 100-bed full-service community hospital in Bartlett, Tenn.
