(August 25, 2005 – Bartlett, Tenn.)  Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett and the Davies Plantation Homeowners Association will team up to present a community health fair.  The event will take place on Saturday, September 17th at Hillwood located in the Davies Plantation subdivision.  Activities will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
          Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett will provide preventive health screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and bone density.  Health education topics discussed will include cancer awareness, heart disease, women’s health, diet and nutrition, diabetes and living wills. Seminars on a variety of health related topics will be presented throughout the day.
        Lifeblood will also have their mobile blood bank present at the health fair.  Individuals who are in generally good health, at least 17-years-old and weigh at least 110 pounds may donate blood.
        Hillwood is located at 3570 Davieshire Drive.  From Interstate 40, exit at Canada Road and proceed north to Davies Plantation Road.  Turn left (west) onto Davies Plantation Road.  Turn right (north) on Davies Manor Drive.  Turn left (west) on Davieshire Drive.  Hillwood will be on the left.
