Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett operating rooms now have new, high definition visualization systems. This equipment enables physicians to see better and maneuver instruments more easily during minimally invasive surgery.
The 1088 HD Digital Camera System features some of the latest technology from Stryker’s endoscopy division. The high definition monitors in this system produce images that are twice the quality of a standard television image. In addition, the purchase of Stryker’s Switchpoint Infinity router will allow multiple input sources to appear on the screen with a touch of a button.
“The physicians who have had the opportunity to work with the new equipment have been impressed,” said Cathy Love, director of surgery. “The high definition video platform brings an amazing level of resolution and visual accuracy to the operating room.”
